Tunku Kurshiah College (TKC) was the first fully residential girls' school in Malaysia. TKC has been awarded the Sekolah Berprestasi Tinggi or High Performance School, a title presented to the schools in Malaysia that have met stringent criteria including academic achievement, strength of alumni, international recognition, network and linkages.
TKC moved to its new premise in Bandar Enstek, Nilai in January 2013. The new campus has two main blocks; the academic lower secondary and upper secondary, and an administrator block which consists of an office, staff rooms, libraries, laboratories, as well as a main hall which can accommodate 1,000 people. The university-style campus also has a dormitory block, a surau, warden's residence, cafeteria, convenience store, and sports fields.
The Old Girls’ Association (MGC/TKC OGA) through the TKC Walk-a-Run Carnival (TWRC) events aim to help raise funds for the benefit of athletic and sports development facilities in the school.
Datin Seri Hajah Rosmah Mansor, Malaysia's First Lady is also a proud TKC alumna and is a frequent patron to TKC events, the TWRC included.
Through this carnival, we hope to raise funds from three sources: company sponsorship, entry fees and donations.
